Hi guys and welcome to my Blog! It took me a long time to do this, but what better day to start your Blog than on exactly 1 year (+ 1 day) after my favorite album of all time came out- "Oh My My" by OneRepublic. Since you literally- I don't like using this word that much- but you literally don't know a thing about me- I want you to know that I am a huge music fan and I have a huge knowledge when it comes to music- so, when I say that this is my favorite album of all time, I want you to know that it's not just an opinion, it's a decent among of time of research and judging!
So, since I had one year (+ 1 day) to establish this review, I decided to not only write a review on every song on this album, but also, sort the songs from my least to my absolutely favorite song. Ya'll ready? Or, as OneRepublic might say: "Is this just what you wanted? Oh my my!!!" (just for you to know, I'm low-key laughing while writing this joke, even tho it's bad... I'm just proud...but it's bad...)

18. Choke- out of all the songs from Oh My My, this one has to be my least favorite. Actually, by haunting OneRepublic's and Ryan Tedder's social media, I found out that this is one of Ryan's favorite on the album and that it almost became a single! I was so sad when I found out that the guys stopped promoting the album and that there will be no more singles off of it, but was also so happy knowing this song won't become a single! I like the message behind it and the lyrics... The melody and the vocals (especially background vocals) are not my favorite thing they've done.
17. Fingertips- even tho I don't think this one's a bad song, I used to listen to this song when I was sick, so for me this song equals bad memories. It's definitely something different and fresh and I appreciate musicians who always challenge themselves!
16. The less I know- perfect little country song and even tho I am a fan of country music I am not that huge fan of this song. It just doesn't work for me that much... But still, one of the advantage of this album is whatever sound you feel like listening at the moment, you can find it all on one place!
15. Heaven- this is a really good song & since it's the last track on the album- a really good way to end the album! It's optimistic and makes you just stop worrying about little things in life and keep going on! Even if you're not looking for a song with meaningful lyrics, but something fun- this is a song for you!
14. Lift me up- exactly one year ago this song was in my Top 3, but today I put it here! It's a really fun song and if you ever get bored of it because you listened to it too much ( like I did)- Seeb did a really good remix on it as well!
13. Born- another song that was in my Top 3 when the album came out. This song is one of the most challenging (in my opinion) on the album. The instruments are working, the vocals are amazing and the "ahh" 's at the very end give me life! Have to say, while writing this review, I'm really thinking how miserable my life was before this album... Feel sorry for everyone who didn't hear it yet.
12. Future looks good- obviously about me! This song is the kind of the song that just gives you life! The "you" 's in the middle of the song just make me happy so much and make me feel better. I also heard in an interview that this song was written in Belgrade, which is not far from me- I really feel connected to this song!
11. Oh my my- even tho I really like this song, I just couldn't find place in Top 10 for it. (Didn't even realize how hard this would be before I started writing) This song is a really good song to dance to, kind of Daft Punk style with a little bit of old and new OneRepublic.
10. Kids- What to say... It's a PERFECT DISASTER! (for the one's who know the song, they'll understand the joke... they'll understand...) This song first reminded me of Coldplay before I realized- it's OneRepublic. The meaning of the song, the lyrics and the vocals are perfect and probably one of the most underrated OneRepublic song.
9. Dream- "In my dark there's a light, it might've been just a dream." -Not only my WhatsApp status, but also one of the cleverest line in a song I've ever heard. If I didn't disgust tattoos, but I do, I'd probably put this on my arm!
8. NbHD - when I figured out the meaning of this song's title, I was so happy! This song reminds me of The Twillight Saga gone wrong: someone found out that the Cullen's are not that ordinary and now they have to move secretly from town to town hoping no one will recognize them as what they are! (I was Team Jacob anyway...)
7. A.I. - Dear Ryan Tedder, we both write songs, love to cook (even tho I love to bake more) and we both love Peter Gabriel. Coincidence?- I don't think so...But even if you do or you don't like P.Gabriel, you're gonna love this song! It's about a person falling in love with another person over social media, just creeping on their pages and non of that is true. I love the line "I'd never forget the way that you spelled my name", we used to say each other's names and now we're typing... Where is this world going???
6. Wherever I go- what I like about this song and OneRepublic is that they can make the sickest beat that makes you forget about lyrics- and the lyrics are terrible! Not terribly written, but you have no idea what you're singing about! From Counting stars and Love runs out to Wherever I go- this song is talking about that time when you're obsessed with someone (and I don't think in a good way). Good job Ryan, Zach, Drew, Eddie and Brent- I praise you!
5. Colors- one of the most beautiful song I've ever heard! The way Tedder's voice connects with the guitar when he sings the word Colors is magnificent and I don't think anything will ever be able to beat that!
4. Let's hurt tonight- the best way to start the album. If I was able to say only one thing to OneRepublic, I'd tell them about the time I went to see Collateral Beauty in the cinema only to hear this song and at the end of the movie when the song played I sat trough the whole thing to listen to the song (my sister and her boyfriend wanted to kill me from the embarrassment because all the people watching). Who's the best fan in the world now? And just to mention, I ended up being sick after that night and had to stay in bed for 3 long days and 3 long nights!
3. Human- if my Blog's title didn't give it away, 3 is my favorite number and my obsession, so to put this song on this number is very important to me! First time I saw Drew Brown co-wrote this song made me so happy (he's my favorite band member). This song had beautiful melody, lyrics and background vocals. The chorus of the song was under quotation marks the whole time until the last time they sing it (in my opinion). It's like after everything they've been trough, they're asking themselves how does it feel to be human...
2. Better- hands down the best song I ever heard and yet, Tedder wrote it after he had a headache- legend or what? The lyrics are amazing and OneRepublic trying something new and doing it like a pro is one of many reasons why they are the best living band!
1. All these things- remember the Let's hurt tonight story ? And how I was sick? Well, I always used to skip this song until that time I was in bed and this song came on- that was the moment I realized that this is the.best.song.ever.!. The bridge of this song is killing me with help with the rest of the song! The reason why this song is on top of my list is because it's a very.... "critical" song... There is a huge possibility you'd hate it and it's absolutely not single material, but it is a very good song and to kind of have it as my favorite off the masterpiece Oh My My is is very unique ;)
Thank you so much for reading! If you have an album you want me to do a review of write me in the comment section!
Write to you soon.
